Ron Paul honors obligation to share his vision

Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign was pleased with the candidate’s “aggressive posture” at the recent Nevada presidential debate, and is planning to build on the buzz with a multi-million dollar television and radio campaign in key early primary states.

The campaign will be keyed to a pair of televisions spots. The campaign explained, “No other Republican candidate’s economic plan matches that of Dr. Paul’s, so in turn we thought it only right to follow with a worthy campaign advertising effort. The 30-second spot ‘Plan’ clearly explains Paul’s balanced budget plan to voters, and the 60-second spot ‘Consistent’ compares his distinguished record of advocating conservative principles with the records of his establishment opponents Herman Cain, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry.”

The campaign is going to be centered in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada, and the television component will be underscored by radio versions of the two TV spots.

“The absolutely positive reception of Ron Paul’s ‘Plan to Restore America’ means we’re obligated to meet an even higher standard of outreach and discussion,” said Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton, a “Plan to Restore America” co-author. “No other Republican candidate’s economic plan matches that of Dr. Paul’s, so in turn we thought it only right to follow with a worthy campaign advertising effort.”

RBR-TVBR observation: The race thus far has been between Mitt Romney and a rotating cast of characters taking turns as the #1 alternative to Romney. Candidates will need early success in 2012 to break out of the pack permanently, so look for almost all of them to spend freely as the primary schedule starts to kick in.

There is absolutely no point in husbanding resources, showing poorly, and being forced out of the race with cash remaining in the campaign warchest.

Can we mention in passing that it might very well come as a major surprise to former pizza exec and radio talk show host Cain to find he has been lumped in with the “establishment” candidates?
