US CongressThe Local Radio Freedom Act, which opposes the imposition of a performance royalty on AM and FM radio, continues to edge toward critical mass and has also reached a benchmark number.

The number of 200 House of Representatives co-sponsors.

The addition of Randy Weber (TX-14) took the House total to the 200 level.

218 constitutes a majority in 435-member legislative body.

The bill also has 19 co-sponsors in the Senate.

Essentially, LRFA stands in opposition to the Fair Play Fair Pay Act.
