Rush Limbaugh out of hospital for the New Year

After being rushed to the Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu Wednesday and bringing in the New Year from a hospital bed Rush Limbaugh was released New Years Day, January 1, 2010 and it looks like he did not suffer an assumed heart attack.

Limbaugh held a brief press conference upon his release telling reporters ‘I wish I knew what  it was,” meaning not a heart attack — but then what caused the chest pains? Limbaugh was asked if he was taking painkillers which he flat out said “No,” but another prescribed medication, Prednisone, which is a type of steroid used in treating inflammation problems.

But in Rush conservative Talker style he began discussing what else — politics and health care. Limbaugh remarked, “The treatment I received here was the best that the world has to offer. Based on what happened here to me, I don’t think there’s one thing wrong with the American health care system. It is working just fine, just dandy.”

On his way out of his hospital room, Limbaugh told all he plans to be back behind his gold mike this Wednesday 1/6/10.
