Ubiquitous broadcast emcee Ryan Seacrest will be wearing his radio rather than his “American Idol” television hat when he sits for an Election Day interview with President Barack Obama Tuesday 11/2/10. Seacrest’s morning program originates on Clear Channel’s KIIS-FM Los Angeles and is syndicated via the same company’s Premiere Radio Networks.
Seacrest used his Facebook page to make the announcement. He wrote, “As he wraps up weeks of urging potential voters to get to the polls on midterm election day, President Barack Obama will join ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ tomorrow, November 2 for an exclusive interview on the state of the nation and life in the White House. Do YOU have a question for President Obama? What issues concern you most? Let us know in the comments below and Ryan might ask it in the interview! Ryan’s interview with the President airs tomorrow at 7:15am PST in Los Angeles, and will be immediately available afterwards at RyanSeacrest.com.”
One young questioner was apparently still in the Halloween spirit, and wanted to know if the President has had any interaction with the ghost of President #16, Abraham Lincoln. We suspect that whatever listener questions Seacrest chooses to put forth, Obama will manage to work the topic around to the elections being held nationwide on the day of the interview.
