Saga Secures Music Listening, Consumption Data Deal


Thanks to a long-term partnership, Saga Communications now has its hands on “comprehensive music listening and consumption data” for its more than 130 radio stations.

The pact allows RCS-owned airplay monitoring service Mediabase and music consumption analytics provider BuzzAngle Music to let Saga stations use the data to help shape what consumers hear.

“We’re delighted to partner with Saga to give them the most comprehensive tools to connect with and engage their listeners through music,” said Jim Lidestri, CEO of Border City Media.

Mediabase monitors the airplay of more than 2,500 radio stations and provides information to every major record label and distributor, as well as concert promoters, artists, managers, music publishers, movie studios, and video game developers.
