A company that has become known as a specialist in routing switchers, master control switchers, and related control software has tapped a new Northeast regional sales manager.

At the same time, it is giving the Midwest to its Director of International Sales.

Now overseeing all direct sales in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, Massachusetts, Ontario, Quebec, and all eastern Canadian provinces is Robert Pennington.

Pennington most recently served as the National Sales Manager for IDK America, where he created pricing and sales strategy for digital AV switching products.

He said, “Utah Scientific is an outstanding company with a reputation for quality, superior service and innovation. I’m excited to join the company and plan on continuing to serve our Northeast customers with the care and professionalism they have come to expect.”

Pennington reports directly to VP/Strategic Accounts Brett Benson.

Meanwhile, Chris Harmon will assume responsibility for the Midwest sales territory, covering the five states Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

Utah Scientific did not elaborate on why the move was made, nor did it disclose who previously held this role.

The moves follow the appointments in early May of George Wicker and Brett Benson for the dual roles of U.S. Southeast Regional Sales Manager. They jointly oversee efforts in Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
