Saturday, ‘Law & Order: SVU’ solid #2; encore of ‘SNL’ scores solid

From 8-9 p.m., an encore telecast of “Parenthood” averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall.


At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of LAW & ORDER (0.7/2 in 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall) increased its 18-49 rating by 14 percent from its first half-hour to its second (to a 0.8 from a 0.7) and built its women 18-49 rating by 25 percent (1.0 vs. 0.8).

At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) finished #2 among the major networks in the time period in all key ratings categories.  From its first half-hour to its second, SVU increased its 18-49 rating by 30% (to a 1.3 from a 1.0) and its overall viewership by 17% (5.7 million vs. 4.9 million). 

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night
An encore telecast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, hosted by Sigourney Weaver and featuring musical guests The Ting Tings, averaged a 4.0/10 in metered-market households.  In the 25 markets with local people meters, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE averaged a 2.2/9 in adults 18-49.
