'Saturday Night Live' hosted by 'Jane Lynch' dominate the time period

“Saturday Night Live” (4.8/12 in metered-market households), hosted by Jane Lynch with musical guest Bruno Mars, matched its week-ago household rating to dominate the time period.  Versus the same night last year, “Saturday Night Live” is up 4 percent in metered-market households (4.8 vs. 4.6).  *Note that current metered-market averages are based on Nielsen “live plus same day” data while ratings for last year were drawn from “live only” results.


Last night’s telecast of “Saturday Night Live” was the #1 program of the night, topping all primetime telecasts on all major networks in metered-market household ratings.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 2.7 rating, 12 share in adults 18-49 and was the #1 show of the night in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime telecasts on all the major networks.  Week to week, “SNL” is up 8 percent in the local people meters (2.7 vs. 2.5).
