We are troubled to report that we are already hearing speculation about the presidential election. The one scheduled to go to the voters for a verdict in November. Of 2012. Pundits, who apparently have the ability to read minds, were tying Hillary Clinton (D-NY) to 2012 during DNC coverage, and we’ve heard the same said of Mitt Romney (R-MA) during the RNC. On the plus side, they probably won’t face each other, since the winner of the 2008 contest will likely be trying again in 2012. But please, pundits. Let’s get past this one, and then maybe get two years off for good behavior, before we start wallowing in the 2012 race. Please. We beg of you.
