Hispanic sports fans in some 28 markets who wish to listen to “the big game” in Spanish have a radio station to tune to.

Thank the National Football League and Latino-focused media company Entravision for inking the deal in summer 2015.

As part of its three-year deal with the NFL, 15 Entravision stations and 13 affiliates will broadcast the Spanish-language coverage of Super Bowl LI, taking place in Houston, on Sunday, Feb. 5.

“As part of our commitment to sports coverage, we are thrilled to provide the premiere Spanish-language radio broadcast of Super Bowl LI,” said Entravision COO Jeff Liberman. “U.S. Latinos are a rapidly expanding part of the NFL fan base, and Entravision is proud to help make one of the biggest sporting events of the year accessible to all fans. Over the years, we have made a significant investment to bring our audiences some of the most exciting professional sports programming in the world including soccer, football and baseball games. We look forward to our first Super Bowl radio broadcast and the continuation of our NFL partnership in the 2017 season.”

The broadcast of Super Bowl LI will feature pre and post-game and play-by-play commentary from Entravision sports and entertainment talent Ricardo Celis, Tony Nunez and Carlos Alvarez.

Entravision stations have been broadcasting all NFL regular season Sunday night games, one game on Thanksgiving, and all AFC Playoff games including Wild Card, Divisional and Championship games in Spanish since the start of the 2015 season. The deal concludes following the 2017-2018 season.
