Last night FOX ranked #2 among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens and #1 among Men 18-34.
The premiere of MASTERCHEF posted a 1.8/6 among Adults 18-49 and ranked #1 in its hour among Men 18-49/18-34/25-54.
Last night’s premiere was down from last season’s MASTERCHEF premiere (which was at 9pm and had the benefit of a strong HELL’S KITCHEN lead-in).
Also note that last night’s television usage during this week in June is usually lower than in late July (when MASTERCHEF premiered last summer).
Last night’s MASTERCHEF retained 95% of the 8-9pm audience of last season’s finale (1.8 vs. 1.9) and grew in its hour, gaining +6% in its second half hour over its first among Adults 18-49. +13% in Adults 18-34 and +7% in Total Viewers.
At 9p a repeat HOUSE posted a 1.2/3 in Adults 18-49.
Week three of ABC’s The Bachelorette posted a 2.6/8 from 8-10p, down -7% from its premiere two weeks ago (last week was a low-rated Memorial Day telecast), followed by the second telecast of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition (2.2/6) at 10p, down -8% from last week.
CBS aired back-to-back How I Met Your Mother repeats (1.2/4 and 1.4/4), followed by repeats of Two and a Half Men (1.6/4), Mike & Molly (1.4/4), and Hawaii Five-0 (1.3/4).
Following a repeat Minute to Win It (1.0/3), NBC’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent (0.9/2, originally on USA) and an original Law & Order: LA (1.3/3) aired at 9p and 10p.
