The Senate Commerce Committee appears poised to move forward on Jessica Rosenworcel’s re-nomination as an FCC commissioner.
The committee has slated a vote on several items this Wednesday, Dec. 9. Rosenworcel’s re-nomination is included in the list.
In her nomination hearing before the committee on Oct. 28, the former Senate Commerce Committee staffer discussed topics like 911 call completion, net neutrality and next year’s broadcast incentive auction.
She came to the FCC in May 2012 and President Obama recently re-nominated Rosenworcel to the FCC for a second five-year term.
The committee is expected to send her nomination to the full Senate for confirmation.
