The House Subcommittee on Communications, Technology and the Internet quizzed all five Commissioners on the newly-released National Broadband Plan 3/25/10, but the Senate Commerce Committee missed its chance on 3/23/10. However, the latter panel has already returned the event to the calendar. Once again, it will entertain only FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski on the witness panel.
The new date and time for the hearing will be Wednesday, 4/14/10 at 2:30PM. That happens to be the second-to-last day of the NABShow in Las Vegas.
RBR-TVBR observation: We read Genachowski’s testimony before the canceled hearing, and he pretty much delivered it intact before the House hearing. So when the rescheduled hearing takes place, can we just skip the testimony and plow right into the questioning, please?
