September opens with scattered coverage

Health care was the #1 story during the week of 8/31/09-9/6/09 because radio and CATV said it was, according to the Project for Excellence in Journalism.

But newspapers said it was the economic crisis, online thought Afghanistan and net TV said California wildfires.

With this lack of agreement, no story topped 14% and a wide variety of stories made it into the media somewhere, somehow.
