The company will not be going to court over the $40 million defamation lawsuit filed by Perri “Pebbles” Reid, the former manager of ’90s all-girl trio TLC. Reid had alleged VH-1’s CrazySexyCool presented her as a “conniving and dishonest businesswoman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.” The suit was filed in 2014 with the trial scheduled to begin September 24.
