OK, maybe not, but media buyers seem to love spot cable when it comes to a Shark brand seeking to build sales and awareness with MVPD subscribers.
Now at No. 10 on the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Cable report is Shark — one of several house-care brands developed by SharkNinja Operating LLC, a pioneer in small household appliances and cleaning solutions “that fit the lifestyles of busy people.”
Among the products Shark is known for are vacuums, steam mops, and robot vacuums.
Meanwhile, right on cue, a holiday-fueled effort from Walmart puts the retailer at No. 3.
However, JCPenney is the dominant No. 1, as the retailer makes a statement with its extensive advertising efforts through Q4.
Also of note is the cable TV spots from Amazon.com.
