Silver State Rocker Sold By Shamrock

A Class C Active Rock station that is home to the syndicated Bubba the Love Sponge morning show and the Sat Bisla-hosted Passport Approved new music program is trading hands.

In a transaction filed with the FCC on Tuesday (7/18) and finalized June 30, Scranton, Pa., based Shamrock Communications has agreed to sell the rimshot facility serving Nevada’s second-biggest market, along with its 17.5kw booster. The buyer is quite familiar with the station. After all, he built it and served as the cluster’s GM for some four years before retiring in 2015.
