New year, new “rabbit ears”?

In cities large and small across the U.S., television viewers are finding themselves minus at least one local broadcast station — and as the unwitting victims of no less than four bitterly protracted retransmission agreements that have yet to be codified.

For viewers in two small Mississippi cities, this has resulted in the loss of all four major television networks from their cable TV lineup — sparking the ire of the head of the American Cable Association.
