LAS VEGAS — The next era of broadcast television has officially begun, as far as SK Telecom of South Korea and Sinclair Broadcast Group see it.
This could explain their teaming for the launch of a joint venture located in Arlington, Va., dubbed Cast.era that is focused entirely on cloud infrastructure for broadcasting, ultra-low latency over-the-top (OTT) broadcasting, and targeted advertising.
