You thought that had already happened, didn’t you? Since the two companies came under common ownership with a single publicly traded stock, XM Satellite Radio Inc. has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Sirius XM Radio Inc., the renamed Sirius.
As of January 12, 2011, XM Satellite Radio Inc. was merged into Sirius XM.
“The Merger complies with all covenants and conditions precedent contained in the pertinent debt instruments of XMSR and the Company, including the applicable leverage ratio tests,” Sirius XM said in an SEC filing reporting the formal merger.
