SIRIUS to air live coverage of Mass. election

On 1/19, SIRIUS XM’s P.O.T.U.S.—the unbiased 24/7 channel dedicated to “Politics of the United States”—will broadcast extensive live coverage of the Massachusetts special Senate election being held to fill the U.S. Senate seat once held by Sen. Ted Kennedy.


P.O.T.U.S—SIRIUS channel 110/XM channel 130—will broadcast live from Boston and Washington, D.C., bringing listeners inside the highly-anticipated race between Massachusetts AG Martha Coakley and Republican State Senator Scott P. Brown.

Joe Mathieu will host a special edition of The Press Pool from Boston on January 19 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm ET. Mathieu and a special guest lineup of New England political insiders will provide in-depth analysis of this historic race and the effects the outcome will have on both a state and national level – from the White House’s health care reform bill to climate change legislation.
