Sirius XM says it has received an official notice from Nasdaq that it is not in compliance with the rule that requires a majority of independent directors. The board is currently split 7-7 between independent and non-independent directors. That’s because Jeffrey D. Zients recently resigned to take a post in the Obama Administration. Sirius XM says it will be in compliance with the Nasdaq rule by its next shareholders meeting.
