Six shows already shutting down from strike

The AP reports production of ABC’s "Desperate Housewives" will cease because it has run out of scripts due to the WGA strike. Filming of the show’s 10th episode of the season will finish today. ABC will run out of new episodes to air before Christmas. Three live comedies have also been stopped because of the strike. 20th Century Fox Television’s "Back to You" with Kelsey Grammer will not return from a planned hiatus today.  Fox’s "Til Death" and CBS’s "Rules of Engagement" have also stopped production, said the story, which citied a Sony Pictures Television source.

CBS’s "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory" will also end filming, according to the AP story. It was not mentioned how many of these CBS shows might already be finished.
