Smaller cable companies want shackles on the gorilla


ACA / American Cable AssociationComcast has claimed that its acquisition of TWC is competition neutral since it doesn’t increase local market power, but rather expands its territory. But the American Cable Association sees potential for competitive damage to its members.

ACA believes that strong conditions need to be attached to the merger if granted.
