If you have a Roku device, you may already be using the iHeartRadio app.

Now, Entercom Communications is ensuring that its Radio.com app, acquired in the company’s tax-free merger with CBS Radio, can be accessed from an array of smart televisions as a built-in app.

Thanks to a newly forged agreement, Radio.com’s smart TV footprint is now bigger thanks to a partnership with Vewd.

Vewd is a smart television OTT software provider and, thanks to the deal, “tens of millions” of smart televisions from such makers as Sony, Philips and Hisense will now have access to the Entercom-owned digital audio hub.

Entercom VP/Corporate Business Development David Rosenbloom said, “Connected televisions and smart home devices are the fastest growing segment of Radio.com’s rapidly growing audience, with significant demand from both consumers and advertisers. By partnering with Vewd, who powers tens of millions of leading-brand smart televisions, users now have our robust library right at their fingertips.”
