Smith Hopeful About Performance Royalties


Gordon-SmithNAB President/CEO Gordon Smith is hopeful that radio can beat the ever-present performance royalty issue in Congress once again.

One more House member and another Senator have signed the Local Radio Freedom Act, a non-binding resolution that opposes any radio royalty. Adding their support for the resolution are Rep. Kathy Castor (D-FL). Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) for 21 Senate supporters.
