Snyder’s Red Zebra bites for CCU AMs

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder should finally get the radio market coverage he wants with WTEM-AM (along with WTNT-AM and WWRC-AM). He has cut a deal with Clear Channel for the AM trio, which will go along with the two fringe FMs and close-in but signal-challenged AM he already has in his Red Zebra Broadcasting stable. WTEM, like Snyder’s existing stations, is in Sports, but it has the distinct advantage of getting a decent signal into the Washington market and pulls much better ratings. Clear Channel will still have five FMs in the market.
