’So You Think You Can Dance’ sets up Fox of a winning Summer

Airing against Game 4 of the NBA Finals, FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, and No. 1 among Women 18-34.


At 8p, an encore of GLEE posted a 1.6/6 — making it the highest-rated comedy of the night — and ranked No. 2 in its hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens and won the hour among Women 18-34

At 9p a special SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE “Meet The Top 11” episode posted a 2.5/7 among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 2 in its time period among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens and ranked No. 1 among all key women demos. Last night’s telecast was in line with the Fall season’s “Meet The Top 20” episode (2.6/7 on 10/26/09).

Summer-to-date SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE shows impressive gains compared to its Fall’09 average on Tue/Wed, increasing +25% among Adults 18-49 (3.0/9 vs. 2.4/7), +20% among Adults 18-34 (3.0/11 vs. 2.5/8), +42% among Teens (1.7/7 vs. 1.2/5) and +29% in Total Viewers (8.0 vs. 6.2 Mil.)

Competition
Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for ABC are approximate.  Following the special Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night at 8p (3.1/11) and the NBA Finals Pre-Game at 830p (3.0/10), ABC’s NBA Finals Game 4: LA Lakers vs. Boston Celtics posted a 4.7/14 from 9-11p, in line with last year’s Game 4 (LA Lakers vs. Orlando Magic), which posted a 4.8/14 from 9-11p in the Fast Nationals before rising to a 6.4/20 from 9:02p-12:23a in the Finals.

CBS aired repeats of CSI at 8p (1.4/5) and 9p (1.6/5) followed by an encore of The Mentalist (1.7/5).

NBC ran a repeat Community (0.9/3) at 8p, followed by week three of 100 Questions (0.8/3) at 830p, which was down -11% from last week. Repeats of The Office (1.3/4), 30 Rock (1.2/4), The Office (1.3/4) and Parks & Recreation (1.0/3) aired from 9-11p.
