'So You Think You Can Dance' takes win in 18-34 and female demo

Most broadcast originals suffered declines last night.  FOX ranked third among Adults 18-49 (just one-tenth behind CBS and NBC) and won the night among Adults 18-34 and all key female demos.


Against increased competition this week, the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Top 12 performance show posted a 1.8/6 among Adults 18-49, down -25% from last week (2.4/8). 

Competition

Following a special repeat of Lucy Must Be Traded, Charlie Brown (0.8/3), ABC ran repeats of The Middle at 830p (0.9/3), Modern Family at 9p (1.2/4) and Happy Endings at 930p (0.9/3). Closing out the night, Primetime Nightline: Beyond Belief delivered a 0.9/3, down -31%.

On CBS, the Wednesday premiere of Big Brother 13 posted a 2.6/9 at 8p, up +4% from Sunday’s telecast. Repeats of Criminal Minds and CSI followed from 9-11p (1.5/4 each).
 
After an original Minute to Win It (1.2/4, down -14%), NBC’s America’s Got Talent posted its lowest-rated original of the summer (2.8/8), down -22% from last Wednesday’s airing. At 10p, week three of new reality program Love in the Wild (1.7/5) dropped -11% and posted its lowest rating to date
