If you are a radio broadcasting executive seeking to learn more about how your stations can profit from its digital platforms, its social media and its website, among other things internet-focused, you’re in luck.

Representatives from SoCast, which provides broadcasters with an integrated digital content management and advertising platform, will be on hand at the 2018 Radio Show and are ready to demonstrate digital’s profitability for the radio industry.

With nearly all of the growth in advertising coming in the digital realm, SoCast believes the radio industry is now poised to take its share of digital dollars.

This requires more than selling the usual “spots and dots” to advertisers. This led to the creation of SoCast, giving the industry tools that allow it to manage digital content and generate revenue through its websites, mobile, smart speakers, video, audio, and social.

SoCast’s presence at the Radio Show includes a demo of their platform, a integrated content management system across all digital channels. Stations can receive a complimentary digital assessment and the chance to become a SoCast “beta tester” for a customized digital product.

The SoCast team will also be using its time in Orlando to debut two new products.

SoCast Voice V.A.L.E.T. provides smart speaker enablement, to drive smart speaker adoption. SoCast Ads is a new digital advertising platform that delivers a new revenue stream for radio, allowing radio sellers to sell digital ads on the internet.

Meanwhile, SoCast Director of Sales & Marketing Eric Eisen is moderating a panel on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 1:30pm Eastern titled “Turn Digital into Dollars: Unlock the Secrets to Digital Success.”

Participants on the panel include Big River Broadcasting Digital Director Halley Phillips, Forcht Broadcasting EVP Amy Stroud, Cromwell Radio Nashville Market Manager Jana Hampton and Crista Media GM Ann Marie Mulholland.

SoCast’s presence at the 2018 Radio Show will also include the presentation “Insights into The Art of Upselling Digital,” which will be presented during the Sales Consultant Series on Wednesday, Sept. 26. This segment will focus on how to pitch, price, and package digital offerings to make it easy to upsell and get more of an ad partner’s budget and entice new advertisers.

SoCast will be at Booth 42 at the 2018 Radio Show in Orlando.
