The battle between Soohyung Kim‘s Standard General and TEGNA has become a daily digest, with a war of words escalating between the shareholder demanding TEGNA board of directors representation and the owner of such TV stations as WUSA-9 in Washington, D.C., and WGRZ-2 in Buffalo.
The latest verbal eruption involves the amount of shares Standard General actually owns. TEGNA on Thursday said it has gone down. On Friday, Standard General vehemently disagreed.
