South Central Media moves to WideOrbit

WideOrbit announced that South Central Media has converted from its legacy traffic system to WideOrbit Traffic to manage its digital inventory and 11 radio stations in three markets. Along with ad sales, traffic, revenue management and billing software, WO Traffic is also managing digital inventory—including online display advertising, search and email marketing, mobile and social marketing—created by South Central’s digital marketing services division.

South Central has stations in Nashville, Knoxville and Evansville, IN. “Our legacy traffic vendor just couldn’t get the job done for us, despite the amount of time that we put in with them, and we were very frustrated with the sales reporting and inventory management,” said Harry Vasels, South Central CFO. “With WideOrbit, we’re able to manage all of our markets, in addition to inventory produced by our in-house digital marketing agency, on a single traffic system. For me, it’s a huge plus to have one place where I can see everything across all of our markets and easily run any report I need, and it’s made our organization much more efficient.”
