It appears that radio syndicator Sovereign City Communications abruptly closed up shop yesterday. The surprise move came after the company, founded by entrepreneur Mark Follett, had spent heavily for months to promote and roll out its “Oasis” format. RBR reached President & COO Joe Giganti, but he refused to comment on what was happening and referred us to a company attorney. The lawyer, in turn, said he was going into a meeting and might speak with us later.
RBR/TVBR note: By the way, if you attempt to contact anyone at Sovereign City via email, well, you are out of luck. Seems the entire email system has been shut down. But the website is still working.
