Triton’s Spacial Audio Goes Mobile

Internet radio broadcast solutions provider Spacial Audio, acquired in 2009 by Triton Digital, has formally launched its SAM Broadcaster Cloud mobile app for both iOS and Android mobile devices.

This enables broadcasters using the SAM Broadcaster Cloud to monitor and execute all aspects of station operations from their mobile device.

The features and capabilities of the mobile app include:

  • Live streaming from any location, at any time
  • Comprehensive audio library management, with the ability to upload files
  • Ability to update and edit programming queue in real-time
  • Management of streaming audio settings
  • Automated scheduling
  • One-click access to the station’s player site
  • Access to the station’s health log
  • Streaming audio and listener statistics

“With station personnel increasingly on the go, the SAM Broadcaster Cloud mobile app makes it easy to manage and execute day-to-day operations from anywhere that they may be, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week,” notes Mathew Coomber, Customer Service Manager at Spacial Audio. “In addition, the mobile app saves stations time and money whilst making live broadcasting easier than ever before, as it removes the need for mobile news crews and large amounts of broadcast equipment when reporting live from events.”

The ability to live stream from the app is included for all Station Managers. This functionality can be provided to station DJ’s for a nominal fee. SAM Broadcaster Cloud customers can download and install the app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once installed, customers login with their SAM Cloud credentials.
