Mission Media Group, which distributes content under Sporting News Radio name, announced John Harris as the new host of “Sporting News Radio Overnight”, a show running weekdays from 2-6 a.m. ET. Harris’ show will launch on Monday, 4/4. The format will be fast paced with callers, opinions, topics and interviews.
With more than two decades of experience, Harris has a diverse background in sports media, with articles for collegefootballnews.com and foxsports.com. Most recently he served as afternoon drive host for 1560 The Game in Houston.
“We are adding a real sports heavyweight to the lineup. John’s sports knowledge is as wide and deep as anyone on radio today,” said Mission Media Group’s President, David Gow. “Also he connects to his audience. This is a heady combination.”
