Bonneville St. Louis Radio Group announced a three-year agreement between Sports/Talk 101.1 and Saint Louis University to serve as the flagship radio station for men’s Billiken Basketball.
As the new ESPN affiliate for St. Louis starting in 2009, Sports/Talk 101.1 will broadcast all regular-season and post-season Billikens Basketball games for the 2008-2009 season, beginning with the Missouri-St. Louis (formerly know as UMSL) on Friday, November 14, 2008.
The Saint Louis University Billiken Basketball partnership is the latest announcement from Sports/Talk 101.1. The new station, scheduled to debut on January 1, 2009, has already announced the addition of sports journalist and on-air talents Bryan Burwell, Randy Karraker, Brian Stull, Sara Dayley, Tom Casey and Chris Gardner to their broadcast team.
