The latest Media Monitors Spot Ten Radio report is out, and once again the auto insurance category is a big one for AM and FM radio.
However, the latest report shows Progressive opening a wide gap by spot count over its nearest competitor.
For the week ending Jan. 19, iHeartMedia-owned Media Monitors detected more than 56,000 spot plays for Progressive.
This compares to 37,628 for GEICO, which ranks fifth overall in the latest report.
However, GEICO and Progressive continue to stand alone at radio, with auto insurer Liberty Mutual highly focused on spot cable with its current efforts.
