Spotify USA has been sued by an alternative rock songwriter and producer in federal court for allegedly offering songs to customers without permission from copyright holders.
David Lowery, who filed the suit, is a founding member of the bands Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven, and teaches music business at the University of Georgia.
