Sprint exclusive sponsor of Survivor premiere

This is the first time CBS’s “Survivor” will be presented with a single sponsor broadcast, and it will be done in the premiere “Survivor Redemption Island” episode 2/16 at 8PM. Sprint will also present a series of four “What If? Moment” vignettes that look back at the tactical game played by popular former survivors and how having a second chance at redemption might have altered their strategy.

Specifically, each of the four commercial breaks in the premiere episode will feature a “Survivor: Redemption Island ‘What If? Moment’ Presented by Sprint.” The 60-second vignettes will also recap the alliances they made and betrayed, and their eventual elimination.  Each will be followed by a traditional 30-second Sprint spot.

Sprint’s sponsorship will conclude with a 20-second montage of “Sprint Moments,” a recall of emotional moments in prior seasons in which Sprint had been a show sponsor.

This year, the show features a new twist: Castaways who have been eliminated from the game will have an opportunity to seek redemption and return for a chance to win the million dollar prize.
