There’s not much movement on the latest Media Monitors Spot 10 Radio report, and that’s a good thing.
It demonstrates that brands that use radio stick with radio — including The Home Depot, a mammoth of AM and FM spot use.
As shown below, the home improvement retailer is a huge No. 1 with more than 82,000 spot plays detected by iHeartMedia-owned Media Monitors.
GEICO, a big user of broadcast media, is No. 3 ahead of Walmart.
Also in the mix: Sprint, which could see a huge change in how it advertises following its merger with T-Mobile, which last week saw Justice Department approval ahead of the FCC’s expected approval.
