The National Association of State Radio Networks (NASRN) and their exclusive rep firm StateNets unanimously approved to adopt the Radio Advertising Bureau’s Selling and Schedule Verification Guidelines at their annual meeting this week.

President of StateNets Tom Dobrez said, “It was a very important step the RAB took and we needed as an industry to throw our full support behind the idea. At StateNets, we have always stood behind what we have sold and will continue to do so.”

This past week NASRN held their annual meeting in Hollywood, Florida and made formal adoption of the guidelines a priority of the session.

NASRN President Michael Hudson said, “The state network industry has always offered a post buy analysis for advertisers and clients, and this resolution to formally support the RAB guidelines only solidifies our presence as a viable media alternative for regional and national marketers with real accountability.”

NASRN is a radio trade association with 30 member state radio networks. Its inception was in 1976. Each network is independently owned and operated. StateNets is the exclusive national sales representative firm for the 30 state radio networks in the association. It is a privately held since 1986.
