U.S. CongressThe five year extension of rules pertaining to satellite television services heads for the Senate. Among its provisions is the continued ability to import distant television signals to poorly-served locales and a ban on joint retrans negotiations by non-co-owned broadcast stations.


Further, the FCC is also supposed to define what good faith means in terms of a retransmission consent negotiation.
