Stocks fell Friday, denting weekly gains, after a Republican proposal to avert the fiscal cliff did not find support, reducing hopes for a budget deal before 2012 closes. Gaining 0.4% on the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -0.91% lost 120.88 points, or 0.9%, to 13,190.84.
The RBR Radio Index was down 3.345, or .8%, to 431.203.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.593, or .5%, to 352.291.
