Ups And Downs As Media Stocks Enter Weekend

U.S. financial markets ended the week on an upnote as the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 110.59 points to 25,669.32. Nasdaq also improved, rising 9.81 points to 7,816.13.


How did media stocks fare?

There was more mixed activity, as Urban One fell 10 cents to $2.25, and TEGNA declined by 9 cents, to $10.73.

On the way up was Saga Communications, which gained 55 cents to $36.65. Entercom shares shed a dime, landing at $7.35. Beasley stock is at $6.70 thanks to a 15-cent improvement.

Nielsen shares dipped 45 cents to $26.16, but remain ahead of the $21.97 close seen August 6 — it’s lowest price since at least 2010.
