Some big M&A deals, not in media, had Wall Street traders in a buying mode on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 79 points, or 0.8%, to 10,404. Radio and TV stocks rode the wave, except that a Chapter 11 filing sent Regent Communications falling by a third.
The RBR Radio Index was down 0.295, or 0.1%, to 220.523.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.506, or 2.5%, to 143.943.
