Stocks drop 6% in May; worst for DJIA in 2 years


Stocks finished the month with all three indexes off 6% or more during May. Friday’s monthly payrolls data and the lowered expectations following a disappointing ADP jobs report on Thursday capped the month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 26.41 points, or 0.2%, to 12,393.45, off 6.2% for May. Broadcasting stocks were up.

The RBR Radio Index was up 3.700, or .99%, to 377.424.

The TVBR Television Index was up 2.321, or 1.1%, to 215.639.
