Stocks closed sharply lower on Thursday, retreating from record highs after data pointed to a slowdown in manufacturing activity in China and investors booked some profits after the market’s strong rally in 2013. The Dow declined 135.31 points, or 0.8%, to 16,441.35 and the S&P dropped 16.38 points, or 0.9%, to 1,831.98.
The RBR Radio Index was up 38.853, or 4.6%, to 883.427.
The TVBR Television Index was up 24.608, or 2.8%, to 898.682.
