Stocks edge up on Fed testimony

Stocks ended Monday generally higher amid lower volumes than usual. With no significant economic news today, investors focused on Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen’s upcoming testimony to Congress on 2/11. The Dow Jones traded in negative territory for most of the session but closed slightly higher, up 7.71 points, or 0.1% at 15,801.79. The S&P 500 closed up 2.82 points, or 0.2% at 1,799.84.


The RBR Radio Index was up .470, or .1%, to 882.373.

The TVBR Television Index was down 15.212, or 2.0%, to 763.671.
