Stocks rose on Thursday after a string of positive U.S. reports provided some optimism that the economic recovery is still underway. The S&P 500 Index rose 15 points, or 1.1%, to 1,428. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 136 points, or 1%, to 13,233.
The RBR Radio Index was up 11.277, or 2.6%, to 444.204.
The TVBR Television Index was up 2.575, or .8%, to 322.311.
