U.S. stocks rose modestly Tuesday but managed to close at their highest levels in more than two years as investors set their sights on 2011. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 55 points, or 0.5. It was an up day for broadcasting stocks as well-especially for Emmis.
The RBR Radio Index was up 9.899, or 3.1%, to 327.543
The TVBR Television Index was up 0.054, or .02%, to 219.299.
